Ekincik - Dalyan - Caunos
Ekincik is a quiet bay and has only a fine restaurant and green hills encompassing its warm clear waters.
The small town of Dalyan (meaning 'fishery') organizes 'kayik' traffic to transport people up and down the peaceful river past the Lycian rock tombs, and ancient Caunos, once a busy, through the delta maze to the excellent sandy beach (5 km long), where loggerhead turtles lay their eggs June to September.
There are also mud baths nearby said to alleviate rheumatism, improve male potency, and "other things", but no guarantees except the smell.
