Patara

Mostly covered in shifting sands, the ancient Lycian city claims to be the birthplace of St Nicholas - "Santa". There is a bold triple arch (1st century BC) that also served as part of their aquaduct System. Patara's main attraction is the white sand beach that stretches as far as the eye can see.
